No, he did not as the man is personally responsible for at least 10 of the 17 titles that the Lakers have won in there entire history.


He was the gm of Showtime and helped them win 3 more rings after 1983. He plus was also the man that rebuilt the lakers into the Shaq and Kobe three-peat era so no matter what he does West will always be laker's Royalty due to what he did for the team as a player and Gm.

I think the Lakers were a sh!tshow for several years, but not so much at the time he made the comments, which means it wasn't really a credible thing to say. When you work for the Clippers though, you're supposed to feel that way about the Lakers and he had a job to do. He's probably a little salty about what he went through with the Lakers before he left too.

That said, Jerry West was my boyhood hero and played on my favorite team. But I am a team first fan, so blow it out your #$%^ and choke on it Jerry. Clippers gonna clip.
