I dunno, I just think hanging out in this stop and go timeline rooting for our pet dogs to learn to write language and build shelters is good reality TV. Pretty much, if they are so advanced they can travel to us when even if we could travel the speed of light, it would take us more than 4 light years to get to the closest solar systems, we might as well be ants. If they come at us with hostile motives, we've no chance.
