I'm picking Toronto this year.
Unless they get hot , like most teams and one or two straight , I don't think they make the playoffs.
They lost choker Kawi , Ibakahh ' and their center to Lakers.
just don't think they have enough.

One way or another KD will get them in the playoffs... he is top 3 player in the world.
But I think Kyrie asked him to come , because he realized after the fact that Lebron was top dog to a chip.

Mavericks. Expectations are too high. They were overachievers last year to me. They're good. This team won't have any regression, but... expecting them to take the next step to a legitimate contender in the west feels premature to me.

The warriors. Normies are trying to hype them again, despite the absence of a perennial key player. Klay is missing so probably no play for them in the playoffs while their young squad isn't tested yet.

Stephen curry has a great chance now to prove that he can lead them next year without being shackled to his 'splash' sibling yet one more time but if they do make it somehow, they will still get demolished by better western teams come playoff time.

I think you are right ... mav's are missing a couple pieces .. but I expect them to be maybe 4 th seed..
Doubt they will get to the WCF's..

Where do I begin with the Warriors.. lmao
Curry could get scoring title ,, if he lights it up and Kerr allows him.
Doubt they would sniff a playoff spot.

Brooklyn Nets getting bounced early even if they make the playoffs.

Raptors - They need to rebuild at this point and trade Lowry. I don't know what they are doing

Suns - Chris Paul always elevates his teams in regular season but he's getting older now and Booker has been a career loser outside of his bubble games

And I think people are overrating Luka as Kawhi just eliminated him with Paul George putting up 18PPG on 35% FG. Luka doesn't play defense, he's like a big Steve Nash on that end. Mavs will be a very good regular season team but will not do anything in playoffs. Porzingis is also soft and injury prone

I also forgot about the clippers

Ty lue being promoted to become their head coach won't make them serious title contenders anymore

Being 0-4 in the preseason speaks about his head coaching capabilities

I don't see the Craps doing well at all this year

First round exit

Definitely the Nets. I predict a lot of Manny98 meltdowns this year.

Nets will be more dominant than expected.

If durant is healthy all year theres zero chance they don't make the finals.

It was a rocky road and they held it together longer than I thought, but eventually it was gonna come apart.

Next year, Manny.

Load up and get the team healthy. Nets will be dangerous next season for sure.
