You guys had to come from behind against lineups that had 5 of Jevon Carter, Langston Galloway, Ty-Shon Alexander, Jalen Smith, Jonathan Motley, and Damian Jones. Relax. Our starters outplayed yours and we didn't even have CP3. And Saric still hasn't even seen minutes.

You're over here acting like the preseason was a negative look for the Suns, but I liked what I saw. The players that actually mattered did what they had to do. Book and Ayton look good, Jae only played 2 games and looks good, Cam Johnson looked like Cam Johnson, Cam Payne is surprising me because I thought his bubble production was a fluke, CP3 was spoon feeding Ayton in the limited time he saw, Bridges defense is looking legit af, etc. Our first and 2nd units showed they will be fine, and should only get better chemistry with more time together, and they will be getting wayyy more minutes in the regular season.

It's our 3rd stringers I'm worried about, they don't look ready at all. But they wont play nearly as much so it's not a huge deal. One thing's for sure though we wont be playing 5 man lineups like that in the regular season, maybe in garbage minutes. But yeah, those lineups were ugly and they had nobody who could create their own shot. Langston Galloway is a nice sharpshooter, but he's a spot up guy. It's whatever. They need to just never play more than like 3 those guys together at the same time without having Booker in there to score at will. If half the roster gets injured and we have to play those guys a lot together then I'll be shitting my pants though lol.

Now I'm not going to sit here and act like we're the best team in the league by any means, I know a part of us getting this far was staying pretty damn healthy overall. And the West is insanely tough we may get knocked in the playoffs early. But I'm keeping my expectations reasonable as this will be a lot of these young guys first time being there.

But hey, even if we don't get far in the playoffs it was a fun ass season especially after years of watching g-leaguers, washed up vets collecting paychecks putting 0 effort, and bust ass draft picks... I'm just happy finally seeing a competent team with a lot of likable players winning games in a beautiful new arena, and even a likable coach+GM as well. If we make it far in the playoffs then that will be a dope ass finish to an already enjoyable season for me. If not, then hopefully we at least play our best and get a good amount of playoff experience to help the young guys grow towards their primes.
