eurobasket 2017 was the first time I saw him play. He was 20yo at that time and looked fantastic; athletic 7 footer with a silky smooth jumper.

The problem with Markkanen is that he entered the league as a very good shooter already and he still couldn't be effective on the floor.
And shooting is the main field of improvement for 7foot stiffs that lack bbiq, body control and strength.
He is Danilo Gallinari with 2 extra inches, worse shot and worse IQ.
Galo 2.0 is best case scenario for him. CBA is worst case.
