Lost way too much of the length that was key to their success last year.
Green
Howard
McGee
Replaced them with a different dynamic.
Pelinka has failed you, city of angels.

These Lakers started off slow last year James and company need time to gel and get the rust off and their legs James played terrible but he always starts off slow, nobodies worried it's a long season.

Only agree with McGee and Howard. Lakers should’ve fought hard to keep Howard. Idk why they traded McGee I wasn’t paying attention to that one.

Just prey you don't face Clippers in playoffs or you're done, bad matchup. Kawhi shot poorly tonight and Lakers still never led for 1 second of the game hahaha
The impact of goat Kawhi strikes again.

Overreaction maybe? Honestly if the Lakers are healthy I don't see them losing. They are much more talented than other teams.

McGee a "key to success"?
Did he even play more than 3 games in the playoffs? The only loss that is substantial is the one you didn't even mention.

if you take away the bubble game, kawhi has won 3 out of 4 games against Lebron during the clippers\lakers era. One game Paul George wasn't even playing.
Kawhi was right, it is his city. :applause:

Kawhi beat you 3 straight times in the 2014 finals. Now has beat you 3 times since coming to LA. You want to get it again? You want to get it again? Go to the west finals and you'll get it again if that makes you happy.

I guess when you cherry pick you get the results you want. If you discount blowing a 3-1 lead in the playoffs & the Lakers winning it IS Kawhi's city :applause:

Dwert and McGee were great for the regular season, just because they weren’t needed for a few matchups in the playoffs doesn’t mean they weren’t valuable.
I stand by gasol being a useless washed up stiff.. dwert only got $3m from philly that was idiotic not to keep him.. I’m sure the lakers will be fine and add some more pieces later in the season but currently I’m not big on Schroeder, Harrell and especially gashit

They were already a playoff team and then you add Durant. Kyrie too... he maybe a nut, but he's really, really, really good at basketball.

I don't think this means we won't repeat but yeah, I don't get Pelinka letting DHoward and McGee walk away for peanuts. Their length may not have had a huge impact in every postseason series but it sure did keep Lebron's and AD's legs fresher and less prone to injury by protecting the rim and pushing the offense outside.

You spelled it Lakers repeating wrong.
yeah they will.
same as last year - its still ultimately a two-man team except they have a better bench with schroder and harrell.
