Yup been saying trae gonna be in mvp discussion. He's a better steph. As good of a scorer but better passer

Steph is a better pure shooter, Trae is a better passer. It was impressive to see Trae score 30+ in 3 quarters.
Hawks defense will be better this year, and they have crazy depth.

Trae could have easily scored 50 tonight if he wanted to, Hawks had a 40 point lead so he basically only played 3 quarters. Steph hasn't played in a long time, it's going to take time for him to get his timing back, he will be fine.

Well you lose all credibility comparing rozier to trae because they're on 2 different levels. Trae is absolutely on steph's level. Anyone who actually knows ball can see it. Steph is obviously better because of his resume but talent wise they're very close. Your jusr exposing yourself. Trae will be in the mvp discussion this year. Mark my words. Steph won't btw

Steph is on a trash team and Trae is on a good one. Steph isn't better because of resume, he was the offensive engine on the greatest teams of all time and rivaled Lebron for best player on the planet for stretches. Trae has a long, long, long way from putting up pretty stats on a cellar dwellar to even approach the vicinity of the historic impact Steph has had.

Steph is better than Trae because he is a much better player, they are not close talent wise. The fact that you think that exposes how little you know.

Meh, this is the kind of overrating of Steph Curry that Klay and Durant were responsible for

Trae is not Steph Curry level but why do you think people continue to make comparisons between a player that's going into his 3rd year vs a player going into his 12th year? It's because Trae has already put up historic numbers for a player entering into their 3rd year which exceed what Curry did early in his career. In terms of putting up cellar dwellar stats, we will see if your statement holds true this season because the Hawks roaster is much improved and Golden State looks like a team that will be cellar dwellers.

You say he's not better because of resume but your main argument was he "was" the engine of the greatest teams of all time. As i said steph is better because of his resume but as far as right now he's definitely not better. Trae is as good of a scorer but he's a better passer. At the very least its close.

The top 8 teams in the Eastern Conference look set though, the last year's top 8 dont look like they will fall out. The good thing this season is that, the 9th and 10th team in the Eastern Conference will have chances for play-in wild card games, so perhaps the Hawks and try to finish 10th behind the Wizards.

I disagree. Scored 30 a game last year. That's on a bum team where teams could focus alot on him. They have more weapons thia year so team's wont be able to just focus on him. Trae will score 30pts a game on better efficiency. Should have a season similar to steph in 16.

And i'm not a huge stats guy so stats aside it's still close. They have very similar skill set.

We are a few games into the regular season and you are already stating the 8 teams that made the playoffs last year won't change.
How can you be so sure when you have teams like the Hawks who had one of the worse rosters last season but now have talented depth at every position. This year is up for grabs in the East, nothing has been set in stone in terms of playoff teams.
