View Full Version : How many games before Stephen Curry activates phantom injury protocol

last season he turned in his pacifier only 6 games after Warriors went 1-5 without Klay. no Dre and Klay to pick up Kyrie and Co on defense anymore, stephen curry nearly gave up 90%TS to Irving. meanwhile on the other end stephen was so exhausted from exerting energy on D that he shot 7-21 and 2-8 from 3pt. blown out and outplayed by Kevin Durant who just came off an achilleas tear

Probably 15 games and that's a wild guess.

Everyone talks about his 6-game sample-size but look at Dame's last 5 games. Including the 4 against the Lakers, he's 1 - 4 and has 3 games of less than 20 pts, all on sub-par shooting percentages (none over 43%), including a single-digit scoring performance in the season-opener, where he went scoreless for an entire half..

KD didn't "just come off an achilles tear", he's had 18 months to recover from that injury, and it wasn't on his dominant leg.

I cannot recall an instance of Curry having anything that could be called a phantom injury. On the other hand I do recall multiple instances of an inferior top player who has had multiple cases coming up at convenient times that had causes that were never witnessed and never resulted in surgery.

Fans of that inferior player should stop projecting the failures of that inferior player onto his better. It just draws further attention to how fake everything about that inferior player is whether it is his ability to carry teams to the finals (only in a weak conference or with an independently made star), his social activism (not with China), or his durability (not when he's faced with a losing situation).

It’s gonna be a rough year for Steppedonshit. Dude has spent years trying to argue Curry is the GOAT and now he has to watch his favorite player become a complete joke.

Lebron made it to the finals with THIS. Steph Curry has no excuses to lead his team on a playoff run.

We are seeing that curry is simply a steve kerr creation. System quarterback they say in college football. Hes an allstar talent but this mvp alltime great talk was just because he could face single coverage as ppl were terrified to leave klay for even a milisecond. Curry is too small and unathletic to do the heavy lifting required to put this team in the playoffs. He wont fake an injury but will be BEGGING myers to trade for harden so he can get a broad shouldered work horse to get him to playoffs and take the attention off him

There is not a basketball enthusiast on planet earth with any modicum of IQ that believes LeBron James is (or has ever been) inferior to Stephen Curry.

Curry has been sheltered by all-star teammates and a perfect system for his talents for a very long time. The chickens are coming to roost for him this season. Will you be here to answer when he falls? I guess we'll see.

What is there to answer for? Curry could stumble into irrelevance from here on out and certain facts will still be immutable. Curry won a championship in less time than it took for the inferior player. Curry won his franchise a championship in less time than it took for the inferior player. Curry won the franchise that drafted him more championships than the one that drafted the inferior player. Curry led his team to wins records unmatched by the inferior player. Curry led a team that had just about the lowest odds of winning a championship at the beginning of a season of any team that won a championship. Curry faced and defeated more top players in his first championship run than the inferior player did in a five year span of finals runs.

Take your licks at Curry now if you wish but what he's done is done. He's more likely to grow his legend from here on out.

Trying to pass off blatant falsities as fact won't make them true. Here's one immutable fact: Stephen Curry has played in 5 NBA Finals and has been the best player on the floor exactly zero times.

He's a beta player who allowed KD to come onto the Warriors and snatch his team, legacy, and manhood all in one swoop. He's also been dramatically boosted by fellow splash brother Klay who has covered an IMMENSE amount of Curry's deficiencies through the breadth of his career. And now that the pieces have fallen around him and he's left to carry the team on his shoulders, he looks like an absolute shell from his former glory days. He will only be exposed more each and every game.

Enjoy the descent into despair.

Thank you for clearly showing you don't have a clue what the difference between a fact and an opinion is. Saves everyone the trouble of reading your drivel. I'll enjoy your predicted descent. Curry is still a joy to watch whenever he's on the floor.
