They didn't look good last night, but I think you are overreacting. The bulls have a new coach and haven't played meaningful basketball in 9 months. The Hawks roster is one of the deepest in the East they are much improved. The bulls have a long way to go but I wouldn't overreact and say they are one of the worse teams ever based on 1 game against a good team.

But most of the so called discernment is wrong. Last season the Clippers were the clear favorites and didn't make it to the Western Conference Finals. Who picked Miami to come out of the East beating the bucks in 5 games.
Miami loss yesterday to Orlando, the Clippers beat the Lakers in the first game back, it's too early to call anything a trend.
