Who are some of your favorite players who fell out of the NBA faster than expected?
Mario Chalmers. Probably could have had a fairly long career but after he tore his achilles he was never the same.

Lots of players, to be honest. Stephon Marbury, for example, he was out of the league by the age of 32, IIRC. Also Steve Francis. Derrick Williams, Ivan Johnson, Shabazz Muhammad. It's not as easy as it looks to hold to a roster spot, there is a lot of competition between players to get that NBA contract.

Tyreke Evans. Historic rookie season and then suspended after he failed a drug test for a hard drug. Never got a jump shot and turned into a crackhead I guess..

Michael Kidd Gilchrist
I thought he was going to be the next Kawhi Leonard, even after his injury I thought he could be a 3+D guy now even the Knicks don't want him
Also I remember how Shabazz Muhammad was being hyped as the next LeBron James in highschool now he's playing overseas :oldlol:

Hell, Tyreke Evans' career was very strange, indeed. As you said, his best season was his rookie season and it all went downhill afterwards.

He actually had his best season on the Grizzlies in 2016. Like I said he would still be in the league if he hadn’t torn his achilles.

A lot of NBA players wouldn't succeed in life if they didn't have the physical gifts to play a rec game. Tyreke Evans is special kind of idiot though. He should be in a jail cell for murder right now. He got a second chance in life because he was a young star athlete but still gave it all up because of addiction. I predict he'll be dead before he sees 40.
I feel bad for Michael Beasley. He made some bad choices but looked like he was making a comeback with the Knicks. He played his ass for them. I don't know why they didn't want him back. He then went to the Lakers and we discarded him like trash to the Clips who threw him in the dumpster. He probably regrets every day he decided to follow Lebron instead of signing with the Thunder.

Rashad McCants.
Good pick.:applause: I think he could be a 15-20 ppg type of scorer, but somehow he fell out of love with the game and was out of the league by the age of 25-26.
