My cousin is a NP in california. She's been working in the weekends something she didn't have to do for years. Hospitals are overwhelmed right now. 6 to 9 hour wait in the emergency room, which they've had to convert into a makeshift ICU, just to be turned away to another hospital because they dont have the capacity to take in more folks.
