Unlike Simmons, Ingram shoots threes, and NO has lots of picks and some young prospects. Ingram is a hard worker and committed to improving his game.
Harden paired with Zion would give defenses nightmares. The Pelicans are building for the future, but they also have Redick, Beldsoe and Adams, so why not try to win now and get Zion plenty of playoff experience? The West is full of teams fighting for those final few playoff spots, and Harden puts them in.
Meanwhile, Houston gets a young star to build around and some picks.

Rockets would be happy to get Ingram but the question is would Harden go to NO?

The Pelicans aint in win now mode though, and Harden wont want to play in New Orleans anyway.

Pelicans are one rare team I think doesn't want Harden. I'm happy to see how Zion and Ingram develop rather than ditch one of them and force the other to go into win now mode when they should still be deveoping. Plus I don't think Harden + Zion + whatever is leftover from the trade is actually good enough to be a legit contender.

Nobody wants Frauden. Neither his game nor his personality is a good fit anywhere.

Redick, Bledsoe and Adams would still be there.

He did suck when I said he sucked. Young players often improve. Shocker. I doubt the Pels could Harden for just Ingram also and again the Rockets are being forced to trade him rn so they’d be happy to get a very young all-star.
