Why do people try and downplay this team cause LeBron beat them?

Does it hurt people knowing that the 2012 Thunder were better than any team MJ faced in the Finals?

The "baby" Thunder managed to reverse sweep a 20 game win streak spurs.

2012 Harden (who came of the bench) was literally better than any wing MJ played in the 90’s :oldlol:

2013 And 2014 Spurs went to the Finals both years

The 2012 Spurs were a younger, better version of those teams, they were undefeated in the 2012 playoffs in their first 10 games (10-0)

OKC backdoor swept them...

LeBron backdoor swept OKC....

There’s levels to this babyboi

Because Kawhi's emergence... DUH. Kawhi wasn't even old enough to go inside of a bar in the 2012 season. When Kawhi made a jump in his 2nd year, they went to a game 7 finals. When Kawhi made another jump in his 3rd year, they eliminated Durant\Lebron and won the championship. 2012 spurs were just rookie Kawhi and they weren't good enough yet.

The Spurs were sublime between 2012 and 2014, led by Duncan, Parker and Ginobili. With terrific role players like Mills, Diaw, Stephen Jackson, Danny Green, Gary Neal, Matt Bonner, Tiago Splitter, Corry Joseph, Nando De Colo, Aron Baynes, Marco Belinelli, Jeff Ayres. Those were without a doubt the most valuable players to the team.

Am I forgetting someone? Probably DeJuan Blair.

The year before spurs drafted kawhi, they were eliminated by an 8th seed in the 1st round hahaha pathetic and they needed Kawhi to save them from being the playoffs bitch from 2009-2011.

In 2014 playoffs kawhi led spurs in VORP. In Finals he scored 24PPG on 69% FG in 3 straight wins and was clear cut best player.

.
pre-kobe Pau........ 1x all-star... no all-nba...
pre-lebron Bosh.... 6x all-star... 1x all-nba

2010 Wade.... 28 PER... 9.2 BPM
2010 Kobe..... 21 PER... 4.4 BPM

If Lebron was added to the 2010 Lakers and then went 2/4 (including the goat choke and record loss), would that be impressive?

That's exactly what happened - he joined a player superior to 2010 Kobe (Wade) and a player superior to pre-kobe Pau (Bosh), but went 2/4

You're right, I did miss Damion James. Other than that all key pieces should be there.

I have no idea where dirk was when kobe was 5/7 right before beating that older injured kobe.
Kobe was no good, Pau ofcourse playing "sad" and everyone tought shannon brown took his gf
or something, but he was always soft if kobe didn't fire his ass up, but kobe was quite limited that
year.

Why compare that to beating prime lebron with that All Star fantasy team?
