I took the liberty to compile the "Playoff MVP".

Definition is the player that was the most valuable player to his team throughout the entire playoffs. Not just the finals. There are some FMVP like Iguodala, Kawhi, Cedric Maxwell, James Worthy that were simply not the most valuable player of the whole playoffs.
That includes Magic in 1980 over Kareem.
2008 entire playoffs was Kobe.

Here are the results:

LeBron 7
Jordan 7
Duncan 4
Magic 4
Bird 3
Shaq 3
Kobe 3

Playoff MVP's:

1980 Kareem - Kareem had a better playoff than Magic, taking it away from Magic.
1981 Bird - Bird was better than Cedric Maxwell for entire playoffs.
1982 Magic
1983 Moses
1984 Bird
1985 Magic - I think Magic was better than Kareem here whole playoffs, but its close.
1986 Bird
1987 Magic
1988 Magic - More important than Worthy for entire playoffs.
1989 Isiah
1990 Jordan - close one between Jordan Magic Isiah

1992 Jordan
1993 Jordan

2004 Billups - Wanted to give it to someone else, but couldn't.
2005 Tim Duncan
2006 Dwyane Wade

For the years before 1980, maybe someone like kblaze that watched those games could name the playoff MVPs.

I'm sure Wilt would take a few from Russell.

How can Wilt take a few away from Bill Russell when Bill doesn't have any to begin with?

West or Baylor might take a few also, depending on how one ranks the rebounding and defensive impact. Although, Baylor was a tremendous rebounder in his prime, and both were considered good defenders.

Idk who the hell would get it for '04, but I'd think it'd be someone like Ben, KG or Shaq before Billups
