Yesterday it was Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Joe EMBIID, and worth adding the entire Clippers team.
Today, Durant Irving and probably Lebron.

Some of that is not load management. Injuries are injuries. Kawhi probably would've missed that game regardless even if he wasn't known for load management because of the gash in his face.

Not liking the way some fans seem to be actively encouraging load management all of a sudden. Many Lakers fans want LeBron to load manage all season.
Let the man get his all time scoring record :crazysam:

He has to recharge his secret juice.
The teams should just charge the players when not reporting to work based on their contracts. Like being absent on regular jobs.
Imagine load managing on regular jobs.

I would take a ring over a record anyday but that's just me. LeBron is 36 so he needs to make sure he is healthy throughout the season. Also, even if he load manages he can still get the record.

LeBron is the only one who doesn't need it because he doesn't do much besides lower his shoulder and commit offensive fouls.
Real superstars need load management.

You are stupid. Contact requires a tougher player than a midrange on contact shooter

Yes.
Encourage load management on star players often so the league will have a reason in fining them to oblivion.

There’s no fans in the stands to complain about wasting their hard earned money to watch goof ball start in place of all star.
Therefore, take all the time you need.

Doesn't matter. People set aside their time to watch the games. The TV deals and sponsors have already been set.
I doubt they did all that just for the star players to sit out a fourth of the games.
Just deduct from their payroll. That'll stop them from load managing.

It's part of the game and it makes a lot of sense. You have to play enough to get a playoff spot. And in a year where homecourt advantage doesn't matter the 8th seed is as good as the 1 seed. So Lakers would be fine to get the 8th seed.
If you get the 8th seed with well rested players then you coached this team perfectly this season. I'm basing this all on the assumption that no fans will be coming to games this season.
