Which supporting duo is better? Which of these guys are locks for the Hall of Fame and which are not?

Draymond & Klay. Because of Klay.

Manu and Parker easily

Manu and Parker because Manu is the best player of the group. Nobody had a playoff run like 2005 Manu. Parker is the worst of the group.

Good post . I vote for Dray and Klay. One two punch of defense and explosive offense. Plus Parker was medoicre who relied on Popovitch's knowledge. Klays 37 point quarter is also noteworthy.

I wish a poll for such threads.

Now that I think about it I would probably go with Dray and Klay

Manu is better than Klay in a vacuum but Klays skillset is easier to fit around and more compatible with today's league

Peak Draymond is easily a more impactful player than Tony Parker.

I would go with Draymond and Klay because of their defense.

Klay and Dray because of their ability on both sides of the ball and how they function with said star. Dray is the weakest of the 4, but his synergy in working with Curry and Klay gives him a boost.

Tim Duncan would be able to win with both sets.

I believe Steph could only win with his mates.

Wouldn't that make Draymond and Klay better? Or does that just mean that Tim Duncan is better? Idk.

Td has made the playoffs without manu and parker

Unfortunately the same thing can't be said about curry without klay and the donkey

Draymond and Klay provide the defense that complements/might be lacking on Steph's end - it's a great fit. Parker/Manu complement Duncan (I'm biased though as I think Duncan complements almost any player/team).

Curry led the Warriors to the playoffs in 2013 with rookie Draymond starting one game in the regular season and averaging less minutes than Festus Ezeli.

Doesn't matter if he started or not, since that roster still has three of them in it.

Unlike td who made it two years in a row prior to the drafting of his other two teammates in the later years.

No knock on Curry (love his shooting) but Axe might have made his point better if he had said that Duncan has won every major accolade (ring, FMVP, All-NBA, All-Defense, MVP) without both Manu and Parker on his team.

There is only one real accolade: the ring. The rest might as well be made up mumbo jumbo. Even a scoring champion is determined by more objective criteria than those media awards. I'm unsure but I don't recall Duncan being able to claim to be one.

Ok, I'll give you scoring champ. Duncan was never anywhere close to that title but did get 5 of your stated one real accolade. As I said, no knock on Curry - I'm a BIG fan of his shooting.

This is kinda like saying you don't have to win games, let alone make it to the finals regardless of outcome, for the sake of having a scoring title. In fact, james harden has easily won each time in the last three years.

Unlike the fmvp awards where the circumstances are quite difficult for different players to have them although the qualifications are peculiar at the same time as well.

easily manu and parker. klay and dray have never had runs like '05 manu or '07 parker in the playoffs. Manu knocked off an Olympic USA team. After Tim Duncan got old, parker used to even get MVP votes. not close.

Manu is underrated
Draymond is overrated

Love Klay but give me the spurs guys easily.
