You had Rodman who was arguably the GOAT defender who whooped MJ in the playoffs before joining his team. Did MJ organically grow Rodman from a distance? :biggums: then you have Paxson Cartwright and Armstrong. He grew these players :lol

As organic as LeBron's miami heat teams.

Built through off season.

As much of an insecure ****head Jerry Krause was he was a mastermind of the draftboards, trades, and signings. Do people really not give a damn about the competency or at least the cajones of a GM?

That’s the thing. MJ stans put an emphasis on organically grown talent when in reality true championship teams have a revolving door of talent year to year.

Many people claimed that Bulls team were the best team of all time during that era and rightfully so. I just don't know why MJ stans have such a psychotic obsession with 1 player did it all though.

Imagine MJ leaves and instead of Pete Myers they got Blue Edwards...Most likely 60-65 wins and instant chip. MJ myth destroyed.

Lol nothing is as bad as the collusion in miami. Nothing comes close to that. But if it makes you sleep better at night then by all means continue on

Why do people care about how "organic" a team is?

The ultimate goal is to win rings, and front offices should construct teams using every tool at their disposal (draft, trades, and free agency). Relying on just one tool (the draft) is a recipe for disaster.

Bulls traded Will Perdue for Rodman. Seems pretty organic to me. Rodman was a headcase in San Antonio and the Spurs were just really dumping him. He just happened to work out thanks to the Bulls strong leadership. The trade that sent Rodman to SA is one of the more interesting trades of that era. Rodman was a headcase and Detroit knew exactly how bad he really was. Sean Eliot had kidney disease, and the Spurs knew his condition had impacted his career. Sean was third pick in 1989 and had broken the PAC 10 scoring record held by Kareem. He was an incredible college player, and a lot of people thought he was going to be superstar in the NBA. Both teams were probably trying to pull a fast one. It's a shame about Elliot. I was always a fan. Still had a good career. In any case, Rodman was truly nuts. The Jordon documentary doesn't do him any justice whatsoever. Yea, he showed out in Chicago. He was a dominant rebounder and defensive player. But it wasn't some kind of slam dunk at the time the draft was made. It very easily could have ended in disaster.

That's why the league has had several dynasties, past or present.

It's just MJ stans looking for more excuses for 1-9. Like, well done MJ...He was loyal to a team who practice putting a ball through a hoop but not loyal to his wife. What a swell individual. God in human form. His Airness. :applause:

Him and Pippen were both drafted to the bulls in the 1980s and went on to become the greatest duo in NBA history. Sounds pretty damn organic to me.

As organic as LeBron's miami heat teams.

Built through off season.

Nobody has response to this yet.

Wade and Haslem were drafted to the to the Heat. Added a few players in free agency.

Organic as they come.

Also LeBron's Lakers teams are 100% organic as well.

Same with LeBron Cavs.

None of MJ's teams were more or less organic than any of LeBron's teams.

Organic = A general manager Krause building Jordan's bulls for him.

Pelinka, Pat Riley, Dave Griffin built LeBron's teams for him.

Organic like your favourite orange juice.

Love me all that organic team construction :applause:

"Organic" :oldlol:

:facepalm

Not surprising that other players didn't want to join MJ really. I'm sure Michael Jordan constantly trying to bully his team mates was no secret around the league at the time.

I think MJ stans are mad that Jordan went 1-9. They really wish he had more help. They know he needs more rings to remain in the GOAT debate.

They so mad that they inserted a definition that has no meaning in basketball.

"Organic" using dictionary = relating to or derived from living matter.

Yeah so Jordan's team was organic because it was derived from 15 living humans.

Same with all LeBron teams

I just forever destroyed the "organic" argument. If you are mad you can't use organic anymore, then use another word and apply proper definition for english words.

Jordan's teams were built through the draft, trades, and free agent signings.

LeBron's teams were also built through the draft, trades, and free agent signings.

Lebron had Shaq who was a league mvp and 3x finals mvp winner. He also had a 4x DPOY in Ben Wallace and 4x DPOY in Dwight Howard. Also Wade won finals mvp as well.

Organic is an inaccurate term. What people mean to say is the Bulls were built from humble beginnings with a young core that developed over time. Back then stars didn't change teams much.
