Instead of LeBron waiting until his 17th season to get AD?

So imagine a 21 year old LeBron and 19 year old AD teaming up

They would win 8 rings in 10 years

And before anyone says AD is better than Pip, AD was the better scorer and rebounder, while Pippen was the better passer and defender.

Honestly LeBron would have won in 09 and 10 if he had a competent sidekick. Give him 15 and 16 Kyrie (honestly even someone like Mike Conley) in those years and he wins both years pretty easily.

It would be interesting to watch.

He had Bosh though

What if Houston traded Sampson for Portland's #2 and Drexler? How many rings would MJ finish with then, OP? Would Hakeem be ranked over Lebron all-time?

Dirk didn't have Kyrie in 2011, so why should lebron need it?

Dirk simply waited until he'd built something substantial, like Lebron would've had in 2011

Lebron would've had the league favorite for 3 years running in 2011 and the Cavs would've added a 3rd all-star caliber teammate like they did in 09' and 10'.. most importantly, they'd have the organic chemistry and defense needed to beat the Mavs, while being massive favorites

Lebron could've overtaken Jordan by winning in 2011 and having a long-standing dynasty in Cleveland, but he bailed because he's weak

And it's a skill deficit - his ball-dominance imposes spot-up roles that stall young players, thereby needing ready-made stars to win (team-hopping, talent-based winning).. his talent-based approach loses to organic ball movement, so he has a lottery record against the Spurs, Mavs, and Warriors.

Why didn't MJ just win without Pippin? :confusedshrug:

Why did LeBron need a better supporting cast than Mo Williams and other role players to beat teams with 3 all-stars and good role players? Seriously?

Jameer Nelson didn't play against the Cavs

Dwight and his 1 fringe all-star (Rashard Lewis) defeated Lebron's 2 fringe all-star teammates (Mo, Zydrunas)..

Dwight beat lebron and won the conference with the And1 point guard (skip to my lou)... And 1-star teams routinely won that conference (09', 07', 01-03')

So you're just lying - lebron never beat 3 all-stars... His 09' Cavs were one of the biggest favorites ever to lose a series

Jordan is lucky to have played in his era where player movement was restricted, forcing his teammates to have to tolerate him.

In an era where there are more opportunities for player movement and more acceptance of player movement both Pippen and Grant wouldve dumped him sooner rather than later.

It goes without saying that MJ's unprofessionalism, immaturity and outright bullying would not be tolerated by anyone today.

If he had AD as a rookie and will lebron dominating ball handling, AD may not have developed as he had.

Too many of these hypotheticals that are only used to justify certain agendas. Things happened the way they did. Just appreciate the history of the sport.
