They thought he was Clark Kent but it turns out he was Superman. Then Lex Luthor and his corporate media empire brainwashed the populace into forgetting. But he's been exposed again!

10 4 ( as I said before the season started Warriors have nothing to play for , so they can feed Curry for a Scoring title)

You've said '10 4' multiple times already but until now, i still don't have any clue as to what it means. :(

Would you relax? You're leading a -12.85 (29th of 30) SRS team. That's like a Bradley Beal fan bragging about putting up big numbers. I'm sorry Curry, your team is irrelevant and so are you.

Now that the Lillard > Curry cover has been blown for now who will they come up with next as a better player to convince the gullible?

Who the greatest player in the league really is getting exposed once again.
Just remember if you are at all surprised at how well Curry and the Warriors are doing it is because the people you are listening to in the media are lying to you. Everything they are telling you is garbage.

No klay no problem? They're gonna finish the season around .500 and maybe just grab the 7 or 8th seed. If they make playoffs They'll be luck to get out of first round.
Steph stans playing for stats now? I guess you have to take what you can these days:facepalm

I don't think anyone expects them to be title contenders with self checks Oubre/Green starting along with a rookie and a career underachiever.
But there were people saying Steph would struggle without Klay and KD, as if Steph somehow depended on them for his offense.

I don't think anyone is saying he can't have great individual numbers without those 2.l, Just that he can't dominate and win. He has a losing record without klay. This is just facts. And most of the steph comparisons are with atg greats so it's relative. Compared to 99% of the players in the league steph is better.

Let’s see how curry does leading this team to the playoffs first. Personally, I doubt that he can take them deep by himself. If he does, which I really doubt, then that’s his proof that he is a great player.

Lebron didn't dominate in LA until he begged AD onto the roster. They didn't even make the playoffs.
Nobody brought up LeBron or MJ in this thread. You were the one who brought them up. Why does it bother you so much to see another player get some credit?

It bothers him—and a lot of other people—because Stephen Curry is better than them. MJ arguably. The inferior player almost certainly.

There are only a handful of players who have gone deep in the playoffs by themselves in history. And today's NBA is loaded with talent. If steph gets this warriors team to the playoffs thats pretty good. 2nd round would be remarkable.

Are you seriously suggesting Curry isn't a great player?
Curry in 2013 took a Warriors team with preseason championship odds of +15000 to an upset over the 3rd seed Nuggets and a 6-game series against the vaunted Spurs. Why should there be any doubt at all? He already did it!

What is deep, WCSF, WCF or NBA finals?

Great shooter, yes. If not the greatest shooter in history. I see that success as a team effort with curry being a huge part. Not necessarily him leading or willing it. No disrespect to curry. Again, in my case I would need more datapoint without klay in the playoffs.

With his current lineup, if he can get to the second round, that would be commendable to me. That is commensurate of how he performs of course. He will see double teams, pressure and physicality and if he is able to keep shooting and playing the way he does then that only proves how great he is.

Yeah it's an early call based on stephs record without klay. And for the record Before klay went out i had warriors as contenders. Even when klay went down and they picked up oubrey i had then 5th or 6th in west. I thought oubrey would be much better than he has so me saying they're a fringe playoff team is based on Aubrey playing like ass. Even still they have a chance. That's a testament to stephs impact.
Again im not saying he sucks. He's obviously great. My argument was to a few steph stans who took it to far by saying he's better than bron

He's obviously not better than Bron, even Steph fans know this, if they say otherwise they are just trolling. My issue is that fans here and in other places quickly labeled Steph as a fraud after his first couple of games this year, and now that Steph has redeemed himself, the haters don't want to acknowledge it.

Sorry I don't know that and I'm not trolling. All the credible numbers point to Steph being absolutely incredible in a way the inferior player isn't. Record breaking outlier in various categories. The other is a bronze medalist being proclaimed as the best player ever. Pure hype.

Yeah that's fair. Hard to not acknowledge he's still a beast. My only response to that is he's always been unstoppable in the regular season and even early on in playoffs. That's usually not the case in the finals and even the conference finals. He's still great but again the argument was relative to bron who usually takes his game to another level on the biggest stage.
