Of course most of the shit if not all of what he said was right. The problem with him, of course, was his method of disseminating his message. His behavior was despicable. Kaczynski is the ultimate proof that emotional trauma can override even the most extremely powerful intellect. Had the guy not been so radically abused, who knows how he would have contributed to humanity... how unfortunate that he did what he did, and what a waste overall... an interesting character indeed.

Because... it's quite clear that killing people doesn't exactly win them over to your way of thinking, even if you are factually correct. His method probably made it easier for him to disseminate his message in the short term, but in terms of the effectiveness of that message and lasting impact, what he did was ultimately counterproductive... or at least, not close to optimal. It was just easier.

So let's say your IQ is 140 for argument's sake. Although not exactly to scale, that would put his intellect in comparison to yours at only slightly less of a gap than yours in comparison to the average poster on this site. A scary idea indeed.
