The main reason I think the response would be different is because those looting sprees were all before biden was elected, and the dems wont need to pander for the black vote for another 2-4 years, so its now safe for them to go back to acting like the racist (or more accurately classist) assholes that they are. Theres also the fact that the dem party knows that the white BLM/antifa "activists" dont actually have any kind of demands or expectations, they just want to virtue signal and LARP... while actual black protesters have real financial and legislative demands that the dem party has no interest in fulfilling. Finally I think Biden and some of the other dems would likely view a "mostly peaceful protest" of black people at the front door of govt as some kind of attack on them, and therefore respond defensively rather than supportively.
