One of the biggest choke jobs I've seen in a long time by the Suns. Wow. That was inexcusable. Nobody could make a bucket. Poor coaching by Monty and playmaking by CP3 too. Freezing Ayton out of the offense when he was doing great. And Monty how the fuq does Galloway drop 17 points in 9 minutes red hot shooting, then you only give him 3 minutes the rest of the game? What a joke. This team still has a lot of work. They can't rely on chucking 3's all game especially when you already have a big lead. I thought Houston taught us that that's one way to choke games you should have won.

By all means, schleep. This team isn't ready for prime time yet. They're too inconsistent on offense and have a lot of work before they DO become consistent. And they most of all still need to PROVE that they even CAN be consistent, not just to the rest of the league, but to us Suns fans as well. CP3 has got to build a better chemistry with these guys and actually playmake to his best ability more often, like we signed him to do, because rn it's too hit or miss... every quarter CP3's playmaking is either great with a wide variety of shot attempts, or it's just setting guys up for the same 3's over and over which gets old. I've been feeling like a big disappointing chokejob like this was coming since the beginning of the season. This is what happens when you rely on 3's way too much offensively. Guys get caught up in it and start coasting on offense against worse teams and expecting the 3's to eventually fall and carry you to the win if you shoot enough of them. And if they don't fall, you don't have anything to fall back on since nobody's been getting their 2 pt scoring rhythm/chemistry going enough. Your most efficient 2 pt scorer aka your center was froze out of the game because nobody fed him looks for 12 mins straight, etc. It's just painful to watch in those situations.

They're lucky they have good defenders on this team, otherwise it wouldn't even have gone into OT or been close. That's the only positive I can take away from this loss. We played like 100% certified dogsh*t offensively almost all 2nd half mostly throwing up wide open brick 3's, and somehow still had opportunities to win late in the 4th because their defense was still keeping them right there. It would be so easy to clean up these issues on offense... it's called stop chucking 3's when they're not falling. Mix it up. Drive to the rim. Take some mid range jumpers. Feed players who have the hottest hands until they run out, THEN after they miss a few in a row you can switch it up. Etc. So I'm not worried as far as us choking away the season. But we can't be choking games like this that we were given a million chances to win. That will lead us to follow in Houston's "dying by the 3" footsteps. Gotta mix it up and be more consistent.
