TLDR:
NBA is poor from lack of audience. Wants to get quick cash from expansion fees and will add 2 more teams ASAP.
what cities do you think are realistic?

Seattle:
Has passionate population. New arena built for its WNBA team. If they choose the sonics name.. will they inherit the old sonics championships? or does it belong to OKC?

Las Vegas:
They could use the T-Mobile arena. lots of new teams just moved there. good revenue

Anaheim:
Honda Center. It was the home of the Clippers for a short time in the 90s. But since Ballmer is going to keep them in Inglewood, their dreams for the Clippers to move there is gone. Kings have often talked about moving here too.

Mexico City:
Everyone says they should play here. is it a really good site? i imagine in the era of covid, they'd have to temporarily play in the US like Toronto does.. same for the team below

Vancouver:
Used to have the Grizzlies.

I think its likely it'll be 2 west teams. allowing for teams like the Pelipens and Wolves to go east

Honolulu and Anchorage. Get that expansion money. Okay seriously it's probably just going to be Seatle and Las Vegas.

Vegas. Obviously.

Maybe seattle since they've been crying for years and years to have a franchise back.
