Doc Rivers when asked if he thinks today's game should be played: "I don't think we should" ... but acknowledges it is not is call

The 76ers are preparing to face the Nuggets with only seven available players.

Doc Rivers on having 7 active players: “Dwight Howard’s going to play point guard...”

Doc Rivers says "I don't think we should" be playing, but that it isn't up to him to decide that. He reiterates he's concerned about the health of his available players, and the minutes the healthy guys are going to have to play.

Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid Out Versus Nuggets, Mike Scott Upgraded To Available

The Sixers will have eight active players, but Mike Scott won't play. So they will only have seven bodies. Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are out with injuries.

If Rivers somehow win this game. He is a total genius.

28-26 Nuggets after 1

No Simmons, Embiid or Tobias. Only 7 healthy players... Nuggets should win in blowout.

I said Tyrese was a legitimate trade piece in a proposed Harden trade, a major sweetner as he only earns peanuts however. Nobody agreed.

Kid will be great if he improves his outside shooting. Which shouldn't be an issue with a big summer as his jumpshot form is crisp.

Kentucky guards or shall I saw Coach Cal guards are just legit. For the most part if you draft one you know what you're getting. Keep shooting Maxey.

One thing thats glaring is the Sixers don't have many ball handlers on this team at all. Yikes.

best offensive rebounding % in the league last year. Long and young. Can shoot and play in pick and roll or pop.

Sounds good if you are doing his writeup in hopes he gets drafted. But watching him play? I can't tell. His best bet is a backup center. For a guy with his massive size he plays small more times than not. Maybe he would work well back in the 80's or something.

No. Scoring if a big part of being an offensive player. And Jokic doesn't impose his will offensively. But hey he has 10, 11 assists yay!

no one said he was a starter. He's already been a backup at 22. Can only get better. What d you mean he plays small? Great offensive rebounder

Never said you did (say he was a starter). I'm telling you his ceiling at best is a backup center. He's 3rd on depth chart here behind Dwight Howard. Ironically he plays more minutes here than he did in Utah where you claim he was the backup? Or was that just a general comment, backup. Because to me thats first in line to replace the starter. We can play semantics and imply backup can be 2nd or 3rd on depth chart.

Anyway that's neither here nor there on the definition of a backup. He plays small because Jokic was out and against midget Denver guys he didnt impose his will/size/ability on them. Not much leaping ability, slow for todays standards of "bigs" (which are PFs or undersized guys with speed see Bam). His development is beyond slow being as tho he isn't a rookie.

Great offensive rebounder. Sucks he offers nothing else besides that and 6 fouls

Embiid played just as well tonight as he did in the 2nd round last season.

I know his ceiling isn't a starter. Doesn't make him a tuna can whatever that is supposed to mean. He had played one game before today no? He was the backup last year after Davis got benched and Jeff Green was kicked to the curb. He isn't an athlete. That's why he was a late first round pick not a lottery pick. He's developed fine. Gotten better every year. Was still growing for at least 1 or two of them.

What did he develop offensive rebounding? You don’t know what a tuna can is but you know he’s not one? Interesting take there.
