Unfortunately and wrongfully I should add, because everyone with just the slightest ounce of objectivity knows that LeBron James should win MVP every season. But hey, the peasants deserve their crumbles. That being said, the record of the Nuggets is sort of trash right now at 4-5, but over 70 games that will be a non-factor. The Nuggets will be fine and at worst a top 3 seed. Furthermore, a bunch of these games the Nuggets lost up until now could gave gone either way. One possession losses to the Kings and the Suns and an OT loss to wonderboy Doncic.

With that out of the way, let me get to the point: Jokic is off the charts. 7 foot Brian Windhorst used to come into seasons not always in the best of shapes. He wasn't Shaq-like fat, but there was some room for improvement, shall we say. He has done so this season and has come out firing. 26/12/11. He leads the league in PER, win shares, OBPM, BPM, VORP. Whatever advanced stat you want to throw at him, it's likely he is #1, and if not, he's top 5 at worst.

In a few months time you lot will look at this marvellous, extraordinary prediction with respect, fear and, mostly, an urge to worshipping, for Uncle Nostradamus is never wrong.

We'll see if Denver has a good enough record (west is a bloobath), he'll be a strong candidate. Harden and Giannis off to relatively slower starts but you can never count them out. This could be the year that Lebron breaks through if no one is putting up historic numbers.

When will the masses catch on? He has been by far the best player this season. The funny thing is, he looks like he's barely trying. Playing an NBA game is almost equivalent to buying a carton of milk in the store for him.

By the way, notice Jamal Murray at the very bottom of that graph? He has been ****ing awful. Eye test confirmed by stats. Meanwhile, MPJ has been absent for the majority of the season. If he could come back, help get some more dubs and the Nuggets finish a top 3 seed, Jokic has to be MVP.

Well 7'1 windhorst overcame kawhit and clippers in the 2020 wcsf despite being down 1-3. So in the next few years, i am hoping that he does something more significant than that if he can if i were to be convinced.

If the Nuggets do not improve their record and LeBron ends the season with 26-27 points and 8 and 8 on good efficiency (while the Lakers maintain a top 2 seed), I can see him winning it.

LeBron is probably going to win it because he's doing what no one has ever seen before. He's 36 and he's still playing like this and it's blowing minds. It's going to be difficult for anyone else to do something more impressive than that.

Young players like Jokic almost have no shot this year - his stats won't matter versus the LeBron narrative. The voters will feel like the young guys will have plenty of chances in the future and that this year we should honor what LeBron is doing because it's incredible.
