The Mavericks have shut their practice facility with four key players now in quarantine via NBA health and safety protocols ... as we await word on the fate of tonight’s Boston/Miami game to see if the Celtics, who also closed their facility, can muster eight players in uniform
I am not sure it is fair anymore, to have teams play with depleted teams like Sixers vs Nuggets.
It will impact who will get to playoffs, who will win NBA league MVP, who will be top seed etc etc
Its not fair

The players knew of this coming into the season.
It's on the players to stay safe. I know some happen by coincidence tho. You taking safety measure yet get around someone who hasn't.

They could go back to the bubble but we all know how devastating that would be for Kawhi's mental health.

They are all out there in the court without masks so if one of them gets it it's getting spread to every player in both teams. Perhaps the players should take it upon themselves to wear masks while playing but that would be uncomfortable and thus a disadvantage. Also it's not 100% effective in preventing the spread. Players certainly do accept the risks when they go out there playing but it's not fair to completely blame the players when they catch the disease given the conditions of an NBA game.

Of course I mean while they're not playing or practicing.
What are they doing outside of the NBA. Are they out clubbing like James Harden? Whatever they're used to doing, can't do it now.
