Sixers only played 7. Mike Scott was forced to be the 8th guy and sit on bench (injured). Was never going to play. Game should have been cancelled. You got a rookie and 2nd rd pick playing 40+ minutes . It takes nothing to reschedule the game. Sizers and Doc didn’t want to play but league forced them.

No it won’t. We had 2 back to backs already within 7-8 games. If you can schedule back to backs then you can reschedule a game with only 7 players. No excuse no defense. Ridiculous especially when a HC says he doesn’t want to play game due to being down guys. And here we are today, reschedule. Foh

The right decision is to probably postpone the game the wrong decision was to let the Sixers vs Nuggets game go ahead.

The Houston home opener got postponed, the assumption is that should have been the standard.

Not sure why they forced the Sixers to play with injured players suited up to make up numbers.

The only reason I can think of is it was an interconference game that they thought would maybe harder to reschedule.

Even so seems a pretty lame excuse. Feels like the NBA is scrambling and doesn't really know what they are doing. To many moving parts I guess.

I just listened to a podcast about the Black Death, and that pandemic kept coming back for 400 years. Living in late 14th century Europe would have seriously sucked. Pandemic, climate got briefly colder making it hard to grow crops, wars all around.

But, we do have vaccines now.
