Luckily Wednesday Capitol rush was a failed attempt.

Night of the Long Knives was successfully pulled off by the Nazi supporters in the 30s. If the Capitol Hill riot had succeeded, it would have resulted in the death of some of our leaders, including Pelosi, Pence and several Congress people. That's what Trump was hoping for and very much excited during the riot according to several of his aides. When the rush to the Capital began, he tweeted out something like "Pence had no courage" as if he was going after Pence right when the riots had begun. His supporters were running around with ties and calling for the death of Pence. That was most likely what they were trying to do, but of course Pence was probably in the bunker underneath the Capitol Hill. I don't know where Pelosi or others were.

Or if Trump's riot had gotten Pence+Pelosi+other Congress people assassinated on Wednesday. Trump waited 2 and half hours to say anything until the coup had definitely failed. Until that, Trump was walking around excited. It wasn't just Trump though - there were some Capitol Hill cops letting the rioters in & moving barriers to let them in.

Concerned that Trump may have committed treason through his actions, White House Counsel Pat Cipollone reportedly advised administration officials to avoid contact with Trump and ignore any illegal orders that could further incite the storming to limit their prosecutorial liability under the Sedition Act of 1918.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m. EST, as the riot was ongoing and after Senators had been evacuated from the Senate floor, Trump placed calls to Republican Senators (first Mike Lee of Utah, then Tommy Tuberville of Alabama), asking them to make more objections to the counting of the electoral votes to try to overturn the election. Trump is out of his mind. Fortunately, reports are that he is being ignored by administration officials and that they will not follow any orders given by him in the waning days of his presidency. Funny thing, and I was thinking about this earlier today is that if Trump would've accepted his defeat and promised to run again in 2024, he would've had a great shot at coming back, only if he acted like a normal POTUS instead of the conspiracy nut bag unwilling to face facts he turned out to be these last months. He has blown up his legacy and no way a majority of Americans will want to deal with his shit ever again...plus he has probably made all those DAs investigating his past more willing to go full throttle in putting his ass away :lol

I've been pretty busy so I've may have missed a few things but it seems to me him encouraging people to break into the capitol is extremely overblown and is being used by the media for ratings and the left to demonize not only Trump but all his supporters. I just wish police had starting firing on the protesters the moment they started breaking past the points of entry like they would do with any other terrorists.

The thing that really concerns me the most is tech giants using their monopolized power to try and silence a large part of the population. And not what they are modding on their own formats, rather attempting to stifle social media startups that can compete them and those of differing opinions. Apparently I'm not the only one as the left leaning ACLU is horrified at the power a few tech giants are using to kill competition and opposing voices. Less than a dozen tech companies are working together with the power they have monopolized together, to kill off each other's competition. It's not only an attack on free speech but clear antitrust violations that will go unchecked because it benefits the powers that be in the Democrat Party.
