View Full Version : LOL at Durant
He left the Warriors to play with the NBA's version of Antonio Brown. Even with Klay injured the Warriors would have been contenders plus best of all the team would be different. Not the "73 win" team.
Curry/Wanamaker
Oubre/Lee
KD/Bazemore
Dray/Paschall
Wiseman/Looney
Basically Curry, KD, and Dray + role players + 2 promising young players in Wiseman and Paschall. That team is definitely a contender but not an unbeatable juggernaut. KD would have received full credit.
But the donkey didn't want him in their lineup anymore, so...

OP thinks Wiseman is AD/KG hybrid lmao.

No. That argument was because he knew KD was going to leave to team up with Kyrie. Plus the Warriors would have traded Dray if KD really wanted to stay.

I never said that. I said his ceiling could be comparable to AD, KG, or David Robinson. Right now he is only a 19 year old rookie with very limited experience.

And you still think Harden isn't a cancer. :oldlol:

If that was the case, that the dubs would have traded draymond had kd stayed there, then the lineup you made in your op wouldn't be accurate whatsoever.

The entire premise of the thread is he should've known Klay was gonna get injured over a year in advance :lol

He couldn’t handle not being the best player on the team. He really thought he was going to come in and take over the team. When everyone got to see them play together and one without eachother...it was clear to everyone that it was Curry’s team and he was the best player. KD got self conscious and felt like the fans and media were slighting him when it was the opposite, people loved KD here, it was his insecurities that made something out of nothing. All in all he let things get in his head and wanted to try to prove something to himself and haters. Now he is stuck.

You are right it is a flawed premise. If Kyrie goes really crazy and retires KD should request a trade to the Warriors. Warriors trade Klay, Wiseman, and the T Wolves pick for KD and J. Allen.
Curry/Wanamaker
Wiggins/Lee
KD/Oubre
Dray/Paschall
Allen/Looney
Definitely not a superteam. If the Warriors miraculously defeated the stacked Lakers Curry and KD would move into the top 10 of the GOAT list. The Nets could tank and end up with two top 5 picks in a stacked draft + Wiseman and Klay.

Nets are STACKED. No excuses.

That's assuming Kyrie plays. He just might be crazy enough to retire. I'm 95% sure he won't retire but there is still a 5% chance.

Counting tomorrow, the Nets will have played 88 games since signing Kyrie Irving. He has played in just 27 of them.

That's like paying him only to sabotage the whole nets team when the time is ripe.

I wonder at what point we'll all have to conclude that Kyrie has in essence manipulated KD. Kyrie needs to come back soon or it will look like he's taking a vacation while getting KD to do all the work. Even worse is that it looks like the Nets are reluctant to criticize Kyrie and bring him into line because KD is giving him cover.
