If Trump had just let things go before last Wednesday, he would’ve remained a significant influence in the Republican Party, and if healthy enough he would’ve probably run again in 2024 with a lot of support. Now? He’s finished. His influence over the party is compromised, his Republican colleagues in Washington have all abandoned him and may even impeach him, and it seems like he’s even lost a significant amount of his supporters. I’ve even seen him get consistently criticized in Fox News comments sections, something that would’ve been inconceivable to me a week ago

Liz Cheney + 2 other Repub house members have said they will impeach. Moscow Mitch is reported to be pleased with the movement to impeach. Not sure if it's worth it to impeach with just a week to go, but look for more Congressmen to announce their support soon. Trump has burned his last bridge.

Rebublican may not take any of Trump clan members back for 2024 at this point.
Trump can try it as a third party candidate, but as you all know the chance of third party president is extremely low nowadays. How could he fund the campaign when he isn't even a billionaire? Maybe his Trumptards would donate but would it be enough to defeat other two giants?

Answer me first: how does he plan on running for president from prison? DAs are not letting him off the hook, especially the one from SDNY.

If he somehow makes it to 2024 a free man, I can see Don the Con running again for a third party. Remember, he never really wanted to be President to begin with, he just wanted the publicity and a chance to fleece some sheep. 30 million Fatricks of the world can continue sending him a portion of their meth and cigarettes money and he doesn't have to worry about actually leading. The GOP would be destroyed and it will be hilarious. Karma for making a deal with the devil.

House getting ready to impeach Trump again. This time lots of Republicans are on-board.
Only 8 days to go, but Lil Donny is going to be impeached. I don't think there will be a trial because he will be out of office next Wednesday, but it doesn't matter. Impeached is impeached, for all eternity.

The trial will happen during Biden's presidency, if the GOP are smart, they'll go along with the Democrats in convicting just so the GOP doesn't have to worry about Trump ever running again.

A White House official says they expect as many as 20 or more Republicans to vote for impeachment in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, though they do not have a firm figure.
Another GOP source close to situation says to expect between 10 and 25 House GOP members to defect from President Trump, and vote for the article of impeachment.

charges apply "where there is a clear recognition one's incitement could lead to foreseeable violence."

Mitchyboy getting excited:
Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader, has told associates that he believes President Donald Trump committed impeachable offenses and that he is pleased that Democrats are moving to impeach him, believing that it will make it easier to purge him from the party, according to people familiar with his thinking. The House is voting Wednesday to formally charge Trump with inciting violence against the country.

this ... but if it never comes to finalization of removal , I think the republican party will pass on him in 2024.
Trump would have to run as n independent .... and most of us know how that would go.
