Started his career with Harden/Westbrook/Ibaka. Then to Westbrook/Ibaka.Moving to Warriors. And now this with Brooklyn.

Up until this point, he has never won a playoff series without an MVP on his team. Now that Nets traded for Harden, that will continue. Durant will be known as the guy who never won a playoff series without an MVP on his team.

Durant averaged 65 games played a season during his 2 rings. Let me know when he wins a ring with Kyle Lowry (0 all nba 2nd teams and 0 all nba 1st teams) as his second best player. Oh yeah I forgot, Durant needs MVPS on his team or bust.

He played for one of the most stacked teams in the league that won a chip prior to his arrival, dumbass. That's why they became a dynasty in the first place.

For his entire career KD has had an MVP level player by his side (Westbrook, Curry, Harden), with all their primes coinciding. That's actually pretty insane.

No shit, dumbass. How many rings did Raptors win before Kawhi?
Now STFU. Kawhi > Durant

Lebron started this. He still has the lead. 3-1 over Durant in terms of teaming up. This does not count for Durant because 1) we don't know how much he has left coming off a career-ending injury, 2) he did not force it, 3) current kyrie is a headcase.

Raptors made the finals without your loverboy and they never choked a 3-1 lead in the second round.

Raptors made the finals without Kawhi? Now you're on crack. SHOW ME. They got swept in the 2nd round before Kawhi came. Now they are the worst team in the league.

Rumor is Durant thinks the Nuts need to add Giannis, Steph, Luka, MJ and Wilt soon for his team to have a chance.

Thank goodness Kawhi didn't resign with Raptors. Stuck with the worst roster in the league and have to face Irving\Harden\Durant.

Also he wants his head coach to be Phil Jackson and lead assistant coach Red Auerbach.

Siakam played 10 total minutes during that playoff run. Completely different teams. What are you going to do next? Name something Lowry did on grizzles 10 years ago
The core of Lowry/Siakam/Vanvleet is what kawhi had to work with. They are 0-8 this season.

Westbrook and scrubs isn't a super team
Harden averaged 12ppg in the finals in 2012
KD didn’t have a direct hand j. this and the 2012 okc wasn’t a superteam yet at that time.
KD joining gsw was the worst move. Worse than lebron teaming up in miami.

But someone pointed out that they were favored to win the 2012 finals which was purely based on betting odds while the 2012 heat were 'underdogs' despite making the finals in the previous year. Super team tho. :yaohappy:

They were a great team but mostly because of Durant. Westbrook was younger and even dumber than now, and Harden was a baby who choked horribly in thr finals . The role players were shit. The best one they had was a washed up Derek Fisher lol
They were still better than any team MJ played in the finals though

^^^ Babies though
For example, 18' lebron would've beaten Dwight in 09' easily... Veteran lebron was far better than young lebron
So these ain't your baby Thunder - these are hardened veterans ready to dominate

A team full of seasoned veterans and a guy who already won a chip by himself (Wade) vs a team of 23 year old finals virgins who were low iq chokers.
OKC was in way over their head, they never had a chance.

I don’t think any team has ever won with 3 or even 2 of their best players being 23 and under. Experience matters, and OKC didn’t have it.

Yep, not like the Mavs, Lakers or Spurs had any seasoned veterans with guys who had already won chips

Well, think about it. LeBron was the biggest choker in nba history after 2011. Who in their right minds would pick heat to win it.

All I Know is that they swept the defending 2011 champions Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs, beat the KObe-Gasol Lakers 4-1 in the 2nd round, and then beat the Spurs 4-2 in the conference finals.

Exactly.. Lebron lost as the favorite from 2009-2011, so why would anyone favor him in 2012?

First finals appearances for all of those guys. The moment was too big for them and KD literally went home crying to his momma.
Look at pretty much all championship teams and they take steps as they go deeper into the playoffs while building skill and chemistry between themselves as they grow with experience.
Teams lead by 22 and 23 year olds don’t win the Finals....ever. There’s a reason for this.

This actually has a big part of it as well. Up to this point LeBron was a legit Finals choker, there was more data against him than for him at this point.
Let’s put it this way if LeBron went off for 30 ppg and won in the 2011 Finals....every single one of those predictions for 2012 change to Miami in an short series.

The only reason the "not 6, not 7" Heat were underdogs is because of lebron's history of not beating the odds

Nah, they know that the Lakers are beating the Nets if they meet in the finals. They're just milking this trade story because it's new and gives them ammo for trash talk.

Imagine you're the GOAT still in your prime with another top 5 player in the league and a deep, very talented roster fresh off of a championship. Then your fans get this spooked when three other stars in the league form their own team together, one of them coming off from a serious injury and with a depleted roster without having played together.

Now he has hall of famer Marc Gasol. Maybe the Lakers pick up Kevin Garnett and Gary Payton. That's two more hall of famers. How much help does he need?
