He definitely could have won a few more than he has (just like MJ), but it really feels like if the Lakers have another great regular season and end up 1 or 2 seed, then Lebron should get his "career" MVP (similar to Kobe's 08 MVP).

You have to lead your team in production rate to win mvp

Lebron trails Davis in PER, VORP, BPM, WS/48,

Are you saying that when comparing players we should exclusively use PER, VORP, BPM, WS/48? If your answer is yes, I'll have a follow up post.

Expect him to average 27 ppg at the end of the season.

When comparing teammates to see who carries the biggest load - yes - those 4 stats are the "big 4" of production rate stats

He deserves a 7th or 8th MVP.

AD will lead the team again in regular season and playoffs

So when comparing players on different teams then we shouldn't use these stats, but when comparing players on the same team we should?

Comparing players on the same team is apples to apples - both guys deal with the same system, coach, teammates, etc

But comparing players on different teams requires more than just stat comparison because those players deal with different casts, system, coach, conference, etc

For example, lebron has better stats than kobe, but Lebron needed a Pau-like forward at third option to win.. otoh, Kobe had Pau at 2nd option because Kobe was infact superior.. his superior jumpshooting skill, pure scoring and off-ball ability fit with a wider range of teammates or systems, so his teams won more with less.

So Kobe had the all-round scoring diversity (on-ball, off-ball) to fit with anyone and win organically.. Otoh, Lebron's ball-dominance imposes spot-up roles that stall young players, thereby needing ready-made stars to win (talent-based winning, team-hopping).. talent-based winning loses to organic ball movement, so lebron has a lottery record against Spurs, Mavs, and Warriors.

Furthermore, kobe achieved better team offenses with less offensive help.. who cares about individual assists or stats if the TEAM has low assists and offensive ratings?.. lebron's skillset sacrifices team offense for personal stats

I'm not sure if i'm interpreting you correctly, but are you saying that we should consider PER, VORP, BPM, WS/48 in all situations except those that make LeBron look good? Because of course he is GOAT by these metrics.

No that isn't what I said

And Jordan is #1 all-time in everything - PER, BPM, WS/48, and VORP seasons...

for the regular season and playoffs

It will be undeserved

No one wins mvp when a teammate is the higher producer.. and many other guys in the league producing more

only a fraud would win in that scenario..... so maybe you're right.. it could be Bron's year

KD has better stats and will win about the same, so he deserves mvp

People will use the 6-6 record before Harden joining against him. People will also see the Nets having a great record as a product of having a super team, not Durant. it's one of the reasons why KD didn't even finish top 5 in the MVP voting in 2017-2019.

Brace for impact.

It will be fraudulent

AD is the team's top producer and turned the Lakers from lottery into champions

Lebron is just a fraud that manufactured his resume - a 1-trick pony before the "decision" with 1 Finals run like Iverson, Dwight, and Kidd

You are the idiot still running around telling kids that Santa Claus exists. You shouldn't be taken seriously.
