They're not trying to trade Kuzma.

Why would the Cavs do this? Trade a good young centre for a dime a dozen wing who can't shoot or play defence.

The Lakers are stuck with Kuzma. No team will even look at him twice after it became evident that he wasn't just "coming off an injury", but instead just plain sucked about halfway through last season.
