Kyrie Irving has been given a $50,000 fine for violating the NBA's health and safety protocols and was ordered to take part in a five-day quarantine.

Irving will return to the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday and he's expected to play in that day's game against the Orlando Magic.

Irving has missed Brooklyn's past five games for personal reasons.

Irving Irving violated the protocols by attending a private indoor party last weekend. Irving will forfeit $816,898 in salary for the two games he missed this week due to his quarantine, bringing his total lost salary to nearly $900,000.
