Greatest single game statistical feat ever? And it was against a 7 foot center.

Why can't Lebron average 80% from the FT line?

Why couldn’t Wilt average 50% from the FT line in the playoffs?

Why couldn’t Wilt average 50% from the FT line in the playoffs?

Why has it taken Lebron 260 playoff games to get 4 championships?

Kobe - 220, 5 rings
Jordan - 179, 6 rings
Wilt - 160, 2 rings

If Wilt had 100 more playoff games with the Lakers or 76ers ...

Maybe _lit should have taken better care of his body like LeBron did and he’d have played longer. Also how come Wilt never once increased his scoring in the playoffs from the regular season? LeBron has done that EIGHT times.

01-16-2021, 04:05 PM
it suggests that Wilt went too hard over the course of those full games and full seasons he played, leaving little in reserve for a postseason run, but also, I think he preferred to delegate tasks to teammates, defer to teammates more in the playoffs and concentrate more on rebounding and defense?

Wilt declined in the playoffs relative to his astronomical regular season numbers but he was still one of the best playoff players ever considering how good he was on defense and that doesn't show on the stat sheet.

Lebron had Wade & Bosh at his absolute peak while Kobe had Smush & Luke Walton... Kobe still got to 5 with just Pau Gasol & good role players.

Yes, easily, unless arguably a couple of supposed 30/30/30 games are real, although, crazily enough, that's also close to a 30/30/30 game.
Strongly honorable mention to the other unofficial 5D, this time by Jerry West.

Btw, o.p., do you know who "Jerry West Archive" is? Is he the same person with Wilt Chamberlain Archive?

Stats are impressive but if you watch him play, skills aren't impressive at all. This is blindly looking at stats which is nothing but stat padding, like what lebron is good at.

His rebounding and shot blocking are. They're all-time great. Wilt had fantastic timing and hands. Also, Wilt's finger roll was very hard to stop. And it depends on the video. Younger Wilt could really move. A lot of the older Wilt on video is post-major knee surgery, which makes him look stiff and awkward.
