It's blatantly obvious that Kyrie is a matter of addition by subtraction. Harden and KD can go all the way to the Finals. Harden, KD and Kyrie, I'm not so sure.

Harden still needs a few more training sessions to get used to the new teammates, hes trying to be the playmaker. Lets see how it will go for this game, it wont be too pretty since its his first game but he will get there.

We have too many TOs in this game, which could've been prevented once Harden and the teammates get used to each other. The bench is really thin right now though, thats what the FO has to work with and I hope they will find the right pieces.

Can't protect the rim, can't defend the P&R, can't defend the post, can't switch, can't pass, can't shoot, can't dunk, can't catch the ball, has low IQ. He and Blake having a race who is out of the league the quickest. Compare that to Marc Gasol, who is also shot athletically but gives you a solid 20 minute shift just because he has incredible IQ.

If the solution to your big man woes is playing Durant at center, you've already failed as a team and as management. He'd get pummelled long term, which is exactly what they should be avoiding. Durant should be able to take nights or plays off, coming off such a horrific injury.

No doubt the greatest return of a major injury ever. During the game against the Nuggets I said Jokic looked comfortably the best player on the floor and, as far as the first half went, I wasn't wrong, but KD made me eat my words in the second half. He has been nothing other than remarkable.

Yes, because I'm hoping for a good game on Monday, rather than a ridiculous blow out. Second, a good Nets team (read: one without DeAndre Jordan roaming the paint) against the Lakers in the Finals would be incredible, with the Lakers having the clear upper hand at this point.

Same reason why DJ won't get traded either is because of their relationship with KD otherwise they'd both been traded by now.

Kyries drama is not worth his talent especially when you have Harden who's a better point guard than him

The logical thing to do right now would be to package Kyrie + DJ for a 3+D wing and a defensive big

KD had the worst spacing in the league in OKC by far along with the worst coach in Scott Bricks.

Shitbrick, Roberson, Porkins, Collision, Adams, Wedgie, Kanter.....

Serge was the only one who could shoot and it was still midrange spotups. Serge couldn't shoot 3s back then. And a season of Dion Waiters :oldlol:

The floor was always shrunk and teams shadowed and crowded/hard doubled and tripled him a lot

This Nets team already had much better spacing even without Harden. Now you can't guard Harden man to man unless you have Dort

Kyrie/KD/Harden + solid 3 and D pieces is just too much talent. The only thing Lakers have is better defense but they aren't the same defensive juggernaut they were last year. Nets have too much talent.

KD has no excuse not to beat Lebron this year. If Lebron wins its because he's the GOAT.

He played great obviously with some seriously good vision and passing but what worries me about this team is you could see how absolutely stagnant it was when he wasn't making plays on the fast break or not receiving the ball off a pass from a teammate (which often led to more great passing). It was just him and 4 stationary men on the court, very reminisce of OKC days when it would just be Westbrook and Durant taking turns. Playoff defense will shut that shit down so fast. Hopefully they can incorporate ball movement as the staple of their offense and less hero plays, if they can do that it is a guaranteed championship

Nets possible #1 seed in the East and how everyone is raving how good Durant and Harden look is great. Possibly a Lakers vs Nets Finals, so yea this thread has something to do with Lebron and LA.
