Yeah I remember back then I always wondered what it takes for Lebron to surpass Magic. Right now, they are already very close, but Magic is still slightly ahead. If Lebron wins his 5th title against any opponents, with or without FMVP, he should surpass Magic and become officially the 3rd greatest player of all time behind MJ and Kareem. We will see if it will happen in summer.

Nope hes not, hes currently sitting at the 4th all time behind MJ, Kareem and Magic. He cannot surpass MJ theoretically since he doesnt have a perfect finals record, but he can surpass Magic with 5 rings and then Kareem if he manages to win another.

I disagree with your opinion.
To me he has already surpassed Magic.

i don't think so.
when all is said and done, lebron will be remembered for colluding, travelling and stiff arming. while magic will be remembered for showtime and his rivalry with bird.

Its a toss up between him and Magic right now, Id rate Magic slightly above Lebron but you are entitled to your opinion. With the 5th title though, Lebron will surely surpass Magic and there will be no argument.

But he’s already ahead of Michael “1-9” Jordan
So OP’s saying Magic > Jordan?

He's not better than magic, they both play horrible defense. Magic is a better passer, way way better ball handler, lebronze is a better shooter ( shows how laughably bad both of them are )

I personally already have Lebron slightly ahead. His longevity give him an edge.

Magic actually made teammates better. Anybody that ever played with Magic had their games accomodated for since he was a master at learning all of his teammates strengths and amplifying them. Lebron OTOH has made star players conform to him, and reduced them on several occasions ~ Wade, Love, and Bosh. Which led to much lower team cielings... AKA he never led a dynasty like Showtime despite having more than enough talent for it. Lebron is a great player, Magic is legendary.
Is what it is folks. :pimp:

So if LeBron averages 15 ppg and wins the title he surpasses Magic? People who rank individual players based solely on ring count are fcking retarded

LeBron became top 3 in 2016.
Top 1 in 2020.
Magic has only 10 All-NBA teams.
LeBron has 16 All-NBA teams.
It's over.

Nope, Lebron is 4th all time right now. He surpasses Magic if he wins 5th, and will surpass Kareem if he wins 6th. Thats about as far as he can go, hes not eligible to surpass MJ after losing in the 2007 Finals already.

Which is why I don't know why anyone even argues with OP. 6/6 > 11/12, he has to win the same amount of rings to surpass other players, even if he apparently does it as a role player. It's just nonsense not even worth taking seriously

OP's brain is getting smaller with each post he makes. What a damn shame, him and all his alts

If only Magic could shoot and play defense.
LeBron passed Magic before he went to Miami.

This is a simple QED answer.
6/6 cannot be "better" than 6/7. But in OP head it is. It's like Kyrie thinking the Earth is flat.
