Their 2021 1st round pick is top 3 protected maybe they are trying their best to keep it. They know they won't make the playoffs.

Even if the T Wolves have the worst overall record there is approximately a 60% chance (don't know the exact percentage) their pick will fall outside the top 3. I wish the Warriors tanked this season. The team with the worst record is guaranteed at least the 5th overall pick. There are 5 studs in the 2021 draft: Cunningham, Mobley, Suggs, Green, and Kuminga. If the dubs tanked they could get 2 top 5 picks!
