It's not something you will notice unless you start paying attention to it. He only attempts wide open jumpshots through out game.

He's not clutch because he lacks the skills and not because he lacks the will.

Lebron is miles ahead of Kobe on all time ranking, but if he can hit half of the contested shots like Kobe could, then Lebron would be on par with MJ. Unfortunately, players who cant shoot usually never develop their shots, especially when it comes to contested jumpers.

Yes and no. He definitely has the ability. We've seen him do this before so it's not like he can't. With Bron it's more he lacks confidence to do it consistently.

Ultimately, lebron's inability to take contested jumpers means he isn't as clutch as other stars and can't shoot well at high volume (which requires more contested shots)..

Since he isn't efficient at high volume, he can't win rings that require high volume, such as rings with "true" 2nd options like Klay or Pippen that average significantly less points in the championship.. fortunately for Lebron, his sidekick was the playoff scoring champ so it was easy street
