Once in a lifetime performance.

He isn't as good as Trae Young or Kyrie, but he is a very solid player nonetheless.

He is yet to score under 20 this season.
The kid is legit. 6'1 and shooting 53% from the field and 51% from the 3 point line.
And he's definitely having a better career so far in his third year with the Cavs than Kyrie was having in his third year with the Cavs.

Every player eventually goes through a rough stretch.

Those percentages will definitely not hold up.

Kyrie was an All-Star by his second season. Get outta here with that nonsense.

They won't hold up, but he will probably be very close to 50%.
Kyrie was an all-star in the same game where Jrue Holiday and Luol Deng were all-stars. Sexton wasn't an all-star in a game where 30ppg averaging Bradley Beal couldn't get selected. And Sexton isn't only an all-star so far this season, but All-NBA.

my guy its not that Kyrie isnt talented its that you can give him a globe and he's gonna have a existential crisis and take a 2 year break after trying to open KD's third eye

"It was LeBron's birthday — it was December 30th. They were playing in Atlanta. It was before Atlanta went on their 20-game win streak, so it wasn't really deemed a big game yet. And they thought LeBron was going to play, and LeBron just decided, 'I'm not gonna play.' Like, at the last minute, he told them, 'I'm not playing.' Didn't even come out to the bench, just sat in the back, didn't come out."

but but Kyrie is cancer...

He had a fluke game. Really caught fire when the nets were dead tired in the 2nd OT. There should have never been a 2nd OT though. If there's like 5 seconds left, you're up 3, and the other team has no timeouts... You foul them as soon as they catch the ball. Then their only chance at winning is to hit the 1st free throw, miss the 2nd and get a tip in. 95% chance of winning but nah... Let the leading scorer of the game dribble right into a 3pt shot with his foot an inch away from the line. Nash ****ed up.

Sorry mate but your boy isn't going to outplay Durant, Harden, and Kyrie on any type of consistent basis. If you think he will, were going to have to classify you as delusional.

He is averaging 27 points per game on ridiculous 53/50/80 (and 62 TS) splits. He is also one of 37 players ever to average >20 points and >56 TS in his first two seasons. 97% of those players became perennial All-Stars. This is probably the first time in your life you've seen Sexton play, so I can't fault you for having no clue what you're talking about.

night night!

Nets were up 5 and had 3-4 possessions to increase that lead as Cavs were rushing and out of sorts.

No excuses

The Sexman once had to play #14 Minnesota with Alabama in college. In the last 11 minutes of the game Alabama had to play 3 on 5, literally. The entire Alabama bench was tossed from the game following a brawl. Then one guy fouled out and another got injured, resulting in said 3 on 5. Alabama almost came back from 13 down because Sexton scored 31 of his 40 points in the 2nd half.

''Fluke''. The Sexman is a dog.

Funny how you left out that the Cavs told him to take 2wks off. Kyrie went AWOL on his own and told nobody within the team.

Huge difference, chico.

Nobody's saying he's not good, but out playing harden and Durant? That's a fluke. Dame is really good but I wouldnt expect him to outplay Dirk or Duncan or something. And if on the rare occasion he did, it would be an outlier. Hence fluke.

outlier isnt fluke.

most 25 ppg performers can have 40 pt games.

thats, normal. anything but a fluke

this isnt terrence ross dropping 50
