Imagine Allen is on our side, both games would have been blowout wins for the Nets. Now we are just as good as the Cavs unless we make some major trades or signings to fix the holes in this unbalanced rosters.
:facepalm

I think Nets would hold the Cavs for less points if they go with "Hack A Drummond" strategy.

Absymal defense

I'm not even mad

Cavs are a likeable team who have my favourite player so it is what it is

You are bad luck it's that simple. Stop opening your big mouth like you have won something. Maybe the basketball GODs will help your garbage franchise.

Yeesh, Brooklyn giving up 113 then 125 points in back-to-back games in regulation to Cleveland.

I fear I may be overreacting but from watching the 2nd half the Nets look like the worst defensive team I've ever seen in my life. :lol

Man that Shamet trade and giving a crucial first-round pick up for him can be the difference between a title or no titles for the Nets as if they still had that first-round pick they gave up for Shamet they could have kept Allen in the trade to get harden.

Before the Nets games we were by far the worst offensive team in the league, even when Sexton and Garland were active, but just hung 113/147 and 125 on Brooklyn. Big time no-no. Nash's solution? Play harder. :facepalm

Don't you think he sees the same thing that everybody sees? He doesn't have the defensive personnel to even dream to be a great defensive team, let alone good.

I don't know what he does or doesn't see. All I know is that ''just play harder bro'' is not the right solution or message. We don't see what happens behind closed doors and these are just comments to the media, but what I do see is that there is no defensive instalment in the slightest. Personnel is a good argument, but it also isn't.

First of all, even when Jarret Allen was part of their rotation, which has been the case for the majority of their games played this season, they were far from good defensively. Second of all, the Cavs have the same personnel 'problem', running around with two undersized guards barely eclipsing 6 feet and Osman, yet we were the best defensive team in the entire league until a week ago.

Ayee you guys are funny . Kyrie was efficient as. I like how the stans switch the narrative. Efficiency only works for your fav player it seems
