The reality is that KD and Harden are "best in the league" caliber and the proper chemistry-match for each other (ball-dominator and possession-closer) similar to lebron/AD

So Kyrie is expendable if they can get value and/or a haul that fills the gaps with certainty

People forget how McGee use to be a running joke until KD came along.. A reunion is long overdue.
