He can’t get it done like Brady

I'm team Brady all the way but some of us need to understand that this is a team game. TB won a game where TB threw 3 interceptions. Aaron Rodgers has never been on a team could win a playoff game where he threw three interceptions.

He was on a team that picked off Brady 3 times today and he still couldn't get it done.

Why is there no comparison? Rodgers balled out today. He absolutely is the superior quarterback right now and if you watched this game coming away with another take then youÂ’re foolish. Like...you can SEE how good Rodgers was right? You could also see which team played more ferociously on defense and which team had playmakers step up, as opposed to dropping easy touchdowns.
Other things happen on the field. ItÂ’s not Brady vs Rodgers

Rodgers is the better QB right now, but his douche personality is why I would never pick him over Brady, Brady's leadership skills are superior, he is well liked by his teammates, they will go to war with him. Rodgers has had former teammates come out and say how douche he is, watch his interviews with Pat McAfee every week, he comes off as overly sarcastic and condescending. Stuff like that matters to me, when your leader is well liked that goes a long way, very good for team morale.

Because Rodgers isn’t clutch. He has no comeback fight gene

The packers drove down the field and had a chance to tie the game with 2 minutes left but MLF made a bad decision.
And this is after an easy touchdown drop.

Brady plays in NFC for one season. Ties Rodgers with one NFC championship. :oldlol: :oldlol:

You’re right but for the wrong reasons. Brady has a competitive intensity that isn’t matched by anyone ever really. Michael Jordan and Larry bird are the only guys who can be in the conversation.
Rodgers doesn’t have THAT because he’s more of a jokester. But his interviews with Pat are borderline comedy sets. He just matches the sarcastic energy. By and large, his teammates respect and love him. But it’s different from Brady’s workman-like approach.

Things like this occurred a while ago. My best friend is a packers die hard and believe me, we’ve had this discussion before and I’ve always been in your side. But Aaron is 36 and his energy has completely changed from what it was in say 2013.
Again, I agree that Brady just has an aura about him that creates wins that Rodgers doesn’t have. But Aaron is a funny dude who vibes with his guys.

He built the lead, and none of the picks gave Packers great field position. Brady threw 3 picks and they dropped a bunch of passes in the 2nd half and Rodgers still couldn't do shit. I don't want to hear any excuses when Green Bay dominated the time of possession and still came up short against a bad pass defense without 2 of their safeties.

Rodgers played better than Brady and lost though. Bradys guys dropped some passes but so did Rodgers guys, one of which was an absolute bone breaking drop for the two point conversion which would have changed the complexion of the game.
Rodgers was also under siege a lot. Barrett and JPP were in his way all night. I could be wrong but his offensive line gave up the most pressures and hits of the season in this game. Good for them they play with Rogers because that all gets swept under the rug by casual fans with illogical mindsets.
The Bucs TEAM was better today. That's how football works. Its why Mark ****ing Sanchez and Joe ****ing Flacco can "beat Brady."
Look at Watson this year. Played unreal overall and the best football of his career all season and his team had the third worst record in the entire league.

Of course team play matters, but QB is the most impactful position in today's league. It's not just the box score stats, but the culture in the locker room and adjusting to the defense on the field. Brady and the offense were more aggressive going for big plays and 4th downs in the first half and it's why the Packers had to play flawless football in the 2nd half to have a chance in this one. You can talk about the defense carrying Brady but Packers' defense got 3 turnovers and Aaron only scored once off those, the Packers dominated the clock by a wide margin as well and had guys open in the middle of the field for most of the game. He deserves some blame for not capitalizing on Bucs' mistakes and not going for it on 4th down at the end.

Maybe they would have gone for it if Rodgers runs it on that 3rd down, he had open space but decided to throw to contested pass instead.

I was waiting for him to take off but he didn’t. He could have at least got it to the 2 or 3 yard line and been in a better position to go for it on 4th.
Them not going for it on 4th was absurd. Turning it from an 8 point game to a 5 point game literally did nothing for them at all. I thought for sure they had to go for it and when they brought the kicking team out I was puzzled.
Even if they were able to stop Brady after one first down. They would have received a punt and have to make a 70 or 80+ yard drive and score a touchdown, with under a minute to play, with no timeouts. The chances of that hitting are insanely bad.
They had a much better shot to win by going for it on 4th and Goal.
Rogers had a great game. He has to be very disappointed.
And the people who say Brady didn’t play well or something. That is totally insane. Once again he was stepping up and making big time throws when he had too. He had two bad throws, the first int and the last int. The first int was pretty awful by Brady. The second one occurred after Evans choked and let a bomb go right through his hands. Then a few plays later another one hits him right in the hands and he tips it up to int. That was all Evans. Last int was tough. He was getting blitzed hard and should have got it out of bounds.
Rogers did play better than Brady but let’s not act like Brady got “carried by his defense”. He was out there making plays when he had too. He had a great game.
Rogers did come up empty that goal line opportunity where he tried to hit Adams 3 times though. Then he did it again at the end of the game when they should have gone for it on 4th.

He kinda does. The Bucs were supposed to kick it at the end of the half and Brady told Arians he’s going for it. Rodgers should’ve owned up the moment and taken control of the team there

I love Rodgers, but billing this game as the two GOAT qbs going at it is an insult to Brady. Rodgers and no other QB is near Brady in terms of accomplishments. Yes, Rodgers is a great quarterback, but he's underachieved in his career for all the titles he's been given by media and Packers fans.

Yup imagine the praise any other qb would get for for defeating Brees AND Rodgers in the same playoffs
