Why couldn't he defeat him once? He had 2 shots at it.

Eli > Brady

This whole narrative really doesn't mean anything when you dig deeper. It probably makes Brady's argument for GOAT look worse because he has beaten all these great QBd while playing pretty poorly himself.

Just proves that football is the ultimate team sport.

I'm supposed to be impressed that in all these games Brady has a 11 touchdowns and 10 INTs?

QB rating in the 70s for all these games he has beaten an MVP.......

He's the GOAT, but not because of this absolutely dumb thread.

What's impressive is that his defenses have held these great QBs to an average of 20 ppg over these seven games. That's a luxury no other QB in history can say they've recieved against such high quality opposition.

Brady lost to Jake Plummer, Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez and Foles. And beat those MVPs.

Conclusion - QB vs QB narrative is lame. And means nothing. I wasn't watching Brady vs Rodgers today, I was watching Brady against Jaire Alexander and his defense.

Ah yes, who can forget the '03 championship game when Manning got his ass handed to him and made the NFL change its rules only to have his ass handed again the next year by Brady.

He built the lead and iced the game when it mattered. Not all picks were completely his fault either.

Great defenses? Tampa has a 21st ranked pass defense and Rodgers couldn't capitalize on 2 of the 3 turnovers. The Packers were the clear favorites coming into this game, yet when Brady pulls it off it's all about his defense and Aaron takes 0 blame. Tampa should have been up more than 18 as well if his receivers didn't drop so many passes. Tampa was also playing with 2 backup safeties. Brady's won 6 SBs with 6 game-winning drives, Rodgers is one of the worst in league history trying to come back in the 2nd half against winning teams while Brady has a long track record of pulling big drives out of his ass late in games. Packers were right there at the end in the redzone and chose to kick a FG down 8 instead of going for the touchdown. We've heard that lame excuse for 20 years now yet Brady's really the only constant. He won with no-name receivers and no elite running backs in NE and now he comes to a 7 - 9 team at age 43 with no training camp with injuries to his top receivers and is still playing for another SB. At some point, you have to give him more credit than that.

Yeah, Brady and his 190 yards per game and 1 TD per game really handed it to us :banghead:

The Patriots defense handed it to us. Brady was along for the ride in those matchups.

Yeah, Mahomes would never throw as many ints as tds in a championship game. Never

49ers had the best D in football and 1 pick was a fluke

Were the packers the best D in football? Not close

Good comparison though

Mahomes is gonna beat the dog shit out of the Bucs in 2 weeks and end Bradys incredibly overrated career

Mahomes is so much vetter than brady its not even funny. Its not even close. Any version of brady

Funny how context suddenly matters. GB had a top 10 defense in yards and passing tds

And were still ranked bottom 15 overall despite facing a schedule filled with a lot of bad offenses.

Its ok man, brady went to a stacked team and avoided Mahomes in the AFC.

He's a smart man. Got another conference championship under his belt. Cant be mad at it.

He's gonna get destroyed in the SB and you know it, and is only in the SB because he got carried

He should he’s not 43 years old. But we all know what has usually happened vs Brady with every elite qb he faces

Manning's '04 loss was extra embarrassing. The NFL changed the rules for him, he was coming off a 49 TD season and still only put up 3 points vs the Patriots, what makes that loss even worse is that Pats team were extremely thin at CB that year, they were so desperate for corners that WR Troy Brown played some CB, Ty Law wasn't even in the lineup and Manning still only put up 3 points vs that Pats defense.

We all know Manning was the king for shitting the bed in the postseason.

Not for long. It's kinda a funny that Manning won both of his super bowls with his defense carrying him while Mahomes in two weeks might win his 2nd super bowl with him playing at an all-time level, at only age 25.

And who can forget that Peyton pulled the exact same stunt 10 years later, after the seahawks embarassed him in the 2014 superbowl :oldlol:

He's the luckiest player in NFL history and the golden child. The money maker. From eye test, prime Rodgers and Mahomes are both clearly more talented quarterbacks. I will say he's the 3rd most talented QB I've seen though. Peyton actually was more talented too but choked too much. Brady is at least clutch.

Eye test doesn’t get you wins or clutch wins like Brady. Brady has eye test clutch and the stats. GOAT qb goat iq no wasted movement

I think it’s hilarious that each superbowl TB wins the excuses get more outlandish. Brady has regular season stats, post season stats, mvps, sbmvps, rings. They can’t wrap their head around that
