Lebron beats Davis in BPM, VORP, failed to beat Davis in offensive or defensive win shares


Both Kawhi\Lebron were able to beat Duncan\Davis in BPM and VORP but Kawhi was able to also beat Duncan in defensive win shares. Lebron didn't beat Davis in offensive or defensive win shares. Kawhi carried the bigger load via these main advanced stats (BPM, VORP, win shares).

While AD and Lebron were 2.4 and 2.1, with all of their teammates at like .2 or 0. So it's clear that the spurs win was a team effort with 4 guys having significant numbers, and the Lakers win was a two superstars > one type of effort. Harden, Jokic, and Jimmy Butler didn't have a 2nd option nearly as good as LeBron. Tyler Herro was the 2nd leading scorer on Miami in the Finals and he shot on 36%. Total garbage.

No system or teamwork - just the 2 best players beating everyone - you rarely even see them attempt altered shots because their talent allows simple shots and moves.. like they're either playing against kids or the defense is non-existent (hands-off, non-impeding + spacing)
