Particular environments will attract particular types of people. For example, power and politics will attract a particular type of person to run for office. Maybe you will find people who are 7x more willing to cheat and lie to you with a straight face in politics. You will find people who are say 2x more cable of stabbing you, or slashing your face, joining a violent gang.

Right now the democratic party is all about victimhood. Telling anyone that might be different in any form that they are a victim, they should vote for them. So it's only natural for groups of people that might be struggling in their life one way or another to lean towards the ones who are telling them that they are victims.

These are very real problems and when a person has them, anxiety, asperges, anorexia, bulimia, their whole world revolves around it. Might give them the feeling that their issue is the only issue that matter in the world, since other types of problems are not popping into their heads. So these people are feeling different.

So when they see the Joe Biden's of the world making it so that these "poor guys" :( who think that they are girls be able to finally compete in sports against real girls, use the same gym lockers, bathrooms, etc. Even if they currently have a pee-nis. It attracts them.

When they see the Joe Biden's of the world speed up the replacement of the $20 bill with Harriet Tubman because black people are all victims and they have suffered enough. It's relatable to them because they're suffering too. (For those who lack comprehension, the issue is speeding the process up to pretend that they care so much about black people, and not Harriet Tubman herself.)

Joe Biden wasn't always this way towards let say black people, but that's what's currently working. You're a victim.

It’s not like they used uncited information. They collaborated with a well known third party survey company. You think they would name Survey Monkey in the article if they were fabricating the story??

Anyway results like these have been well known for years, thru myriad studies done by sources from all over the spectrum. The main difference with this study is the breakdown of specific psychological issues rather than just lumping it into “lower self esteem” and the like. Basically framing it as more of a medical issue than an attitude issue. Which Im sure will play well among the base.

This is basically pedantic rationalization.

The larger point is clear. In general, people who are unsatisfied with themselves and their lives congregate under the Democratic umbrella.

Shouldn't be any kind of surprise. Everything exists on a spectrum, including strong and weak. Politically, weaker people will favor more protection. Pretty simple and intuitive. But ofc if you're a Democrat, you won't acknowledge that your politics basically announce you're weak. So you come up with mental gymnastics and away we go.
