...do they realize he's not the president anymore and is just some old golfer now? Over the past few weeks, nothings changed either that I can tell. It's always some garbage about trump whether right or wrong, trump trump trump trump trump. I asked myself a few days ago what is gonna happen to places like CNN that lean hard left now that he's gone? Will they report the news again? Will they even attempt to? Apparently not.

The impeachment is a waste of time because the senate won't convict. With Democrat control of the proceedings we will at least see more evidence and witnesses come to light but in the end that's just some more embarrassing stories of which Trump has hundreds. No one's opinion is going to change.

With that said a lot of people hate the ex president and love to hear embarrassing details. Him being an idiot and insisting on election fraud as his defense when Republicans in congress have told the world why they won't convict its the latest in a long line of stupid stories and the fact that it's making lawyers quit is the kind of crap Trump haters love to hear about. Don't why he doesn't just take the easy win and then tell his idiot fans that he was acquitted because they know the election was stolen. The fools will believe anything he says and there's no penalty for lying. He says fake news and that's the end of it. He will never lose the support of MAGA and he will never gain the respect of people that don't watch OAN. It's baked in firm both ways.

The issue under question took place while he was president.

If I was an insurance salesman, and let's say I got 100 people to sign up for life insurance plan on lies. I wanted to get a promotion but needed my work portfolio to look good. One of those people finds out I was lying & selling scams and reports me to the government. I resign from the insurance company, and I'm at home unemployed. Are you telling me the government would not be within their rights to take me to court for my scams just because I'm no longer on the job?

He can just sign a legal contract saying he will never run for office again if the impeachment is dropped. Then just tell Republicans he is all about grace and was willing to stop the fight out of the goodness of the country. Republicans will accept it, and specifically his MAGA-special suckers.. I mean supporters.. will worship the ground he walks on like they do Jesus. He would basically control the Republican party and be a God in the eyes of MAGA until he dies of old age.

The other possibility is he fights it tooth & nails, and slowly burns every bridge he can. All his dirty laundry on January 6/leading up to it comes out, his ex-aides turn on him, etcetc. Perhaps Republicans are okay with that? If they are, then let it all come out. Put the Senate Republicans' vote on the bulletin front & center approving him even after provoking the march into Capitol Hill. That's fine with me if that's the path they choose.
