Avery Bradley had serious concerns about the coronavirus, particularly because one of his children has struggled with respiratory illnesses. So he opted out of the bubble last year, to play for the Lakers for a championship.

But this year, that problem somehow disappeared? And he wanna play now?

I'm sure every parent would want to stay home if their child had a respiratory illness. But work is work, regardless if you make millions or thousands. Being a millionaire just means higher bills, higher mortgage, more taxes etc. etc.

He's in a profession that has a tiny window of making money so that he can sustain his and his children's lifestyle after retiring. So for him to say okay, I have to go back and rejoin the league is not surprising.
