We learned this very early in KD’s career. KD struggles against a combo of strength and quickness. Quick feet and quick hands especially.

The two losses against the Wizards were the worst. Those two games should have been won 100%. That's the difference between being 17-7 (number 1 in the NBA) and 15-9 right now. Nets need to improve their turnovers. They consistently choose the last 2 minutes of the game to have dumb turnovers. Anyways, great win and we'll take it. It's been a while since the Nets have had a clean, convincing win. I hope we get one in the next game.

Ty Lue's game plan was just to go 1 on 1 and attack Irving's defense. It was working and then Irving kept fouling and getting away with it. Oh well, lets see if they can get through the east.

Harden has 6 FGA. Kyrie has as many FGA as both of them combined.
Kyrie is 7-13, great. Kyrie shooting 26 shots per game won't get us to where we need to.


I never like stuff like this. Watching the game, he missed a few bunnies at the very beginning. The thing is, when KD and Harden are having issues getting into the flow and shooters aren't hitting shots, Kyrie should shoot. His 9-point first quarter was very important for the Nets. Kyrie is basically the ultimate bad offense saver for 7 or so minutes a game. When everything breaks down, he can just go ISO and get a good shot at any time he wants. KD got into foul trouble so that's why Kyrie took more shots than him. Harden was running the offense. In some ways, KD and Kyrie play the same role. Also, KD is unquestionably the better player, but Kyrie is averaging 28/5/6 on 64 TS%. That's All-Time levels of efficiency. Having him shoot, especially when he's creating the bucket himself is no issue. He's not *that* far behind Kd in terms of scoring this year to the point where it's dumb. Also, KD gets fouled more so those are additional attempts that don't count.
