Which film was better? Both found similar levels of critical success. 22 Jump Street grossed more at the box office, but had 21 Jump Street to thank for that.

Both great. I go with 22. I love how with college culture being the way it is now, Jonah Hill is the cool one. It's true, too. Jocks aren't cool anymore. This is the first movie I've seen that really pointed that out

True -- and it's because of social media causing everyone to be "on-brand" and politically correct. Everyone's performing PR for themselves, and that Gen X "I don't care" slacker mentality has gone out of fashion. It's now cool to care about shit, simply because you can show and tell everyone.

Don't get it wrong though, jocks still exist. The D1 football and basketball guys still get the most. They're just less ignorant and conduct virtue signaling to maintain a clean public image. They all know how one tweet, or one snapchat can ruin a career.

Idk what you expect bro, they were perfectly fine movies, but 100% forgettable :lol I have legitimately never even heard anybody talk about them since they came out

A good point. I'm of 2 minds about it- on the one hand I don't miss the stupid bully jock, but on the other hand there was something innocent and pure about the stupid bully jock, that the woke, virtue-signaling, considerate jock with the spotless image lacks
